Lapsana communis - Nipplewort
Tall, leafy, well branched
Thin branched leafy stem, no stolons, rhizomes or latex. In flower the stem is often purplish.
Basal leaves lobed and ovate, end lobe irregularly toothed much bigger than laterals.
Two rows of hairless neat phyllaries. Paler yellow capitulum, smaller, ligules 5 lobed and no pappus.
